Bill’s Story

Hi I’m Skip with Freedom Builders, 9 year old Billy asked why all these people had showed up to work on his house. You see Billy didn’t know or had even seen any of these people before. When I told him that they just wanted to help his mom his brother and him have a little nicer home he still didn’t understand. People don’t just help people that they don’t know for no reason Bill said.

You see Billy’s mom was disabled and he didn’t know his dad, the three of them had to get buy with what mom could make in her service job and what assistance the government could provide. They couldn’t any longer find a decent affordable place to live. Freedom Builders came to help fix up the home they wanted to rent. We were there for several months renovating the home during that time Bill saw something he didn’t understand, people caring for people that they didn’t even know. You see his aunts and uncles didn’t even do that and the family friends didn’t do that.
